Subject: Visual Supplement to Enhance Reviewer Understanding: Manuscript [nBME-26-1848]

Dear Editor,
I hope you are having a productive week.
Regarding our manuscript, "Re-wiring the Circuit of Life..." (nBME-26-1848), we have been internally discussing how to most effectively communicate the novel solid-state mechanisms of our B-ACE platform to a broad interdisciplinary audience.

Given that the concept of "Active Disorder" and "Electronic Signaling" in a biological context represents a significant paradigm shift, we realized that additional visual aids might be crucial for the referees to intuitively grasp the underlying physics.

To assist the review process, we have developed a "Note on Cage Theory" accompanied by a multi-panel schematic (Figure S1). This supplement is designed to serve as a conceptual bridge, visualizing:
Figure S1a (The Cage): The physical localization of charges within the amorphous lattice (explaining our g ≈ 2.0128 ESR data).
