On yesterday I received your favor of the 6th ultimo; the delay is giving me not reading Aráez till after making his to me of the 11th.

My last letters to you were dated May 22nd and June 6th & 20th; and again, particularly, draw your attention to what I say in regard to Lic. Ibarra's account; you taking care to bring my points to Martínez de la Torre's notice, notifying him thereon.

I have carefully read your details on both legacies, and see that your visit to Morelia has been of servicio to the Yturbe family.

But, I am very much in the dark as to final result; for, you did not write to me by the English Steamer, and Sir Yana did not do so by the Terreneuve Packet.
