Abstract:

These files constitute the online materials (electronic data tables) 
for the paper "Spectroscopic comparative study of the red giant binary system
gamma Leonis A ad B (Y. Takeda)".
The file "feabunds.dat" presents the equivalent widths and abundances of 
Fe lines used for determinations of atmospheric parameters of both stars.
In the files "ewanalys_A.dat" and "ewanalys_B.dat" are contained the measured 
equivalent widths and the results of the chemical abundances for 19 elements 
for gamma Leo A and B, respectively.

The basic atomic data, the equivalent widths, and the resulting Fe abundances 
(corresponding to the final parameters) are presented here for each of the Fe I 
and Fe II lines, which were used to determine the atmospheric parameters of 
gamma Leo A ad B. The logarithmic Fe abundances [A(Fe)] are expressed in the 
usual normalization of A(H)=12.00. The first line is the header information.

These files consist of a number of sections corresponding to each of the 
19 element species (Al I, Si I, K I, Ca I, Sc II, Ti I, V I, Cr I, Mn I, 
Co I, Ni I, Cu I, Sr I, Y II, Zr I, La II, Ce II, Pr II, Nd II). 
At the beginning of a section, the information of 
<nline,naver,code> is given, where "nline" is the number of the lines
for the species, "naver" is the number of the lines actually adopted for
computing the averaged abundances after rejection of inadequate data
(naturally, nline >= naver), and "code" is the species code
used in the WIDTH9 program (e.g., 14.00 for Si I, 39.01 for Y II).
The abundance results for each spectral line are given line by line
and contain the following information: code, wavelength (A), lower 
excitation potential (eV), log gf, vt(star), EW(star), A(star),
vt(Sun), EW(Sun), A(Sun), delA(star-Sun). At the end of a section,
the <delA(star-Sun)> (averaged value) and the corresponding sigma
(standard deviation) as well as epsilon (mean error defined 
as sigma/sqrt(naver)) are also given.
