Moderate-imbalance/minimum-size-matching extension

This folder is a prospectively fixed extension after v0.6, using new independently seeded catalogues. It is not external preregistration. The scientific bank and settings were frozen in freeze.json before main outcomes. The analysis implementation was completed and separately hashed in analysis_freeze.json before main outcomes were inspected. PROTOCOL.txt is the immutable frozen record; PROTOCOL_READABLE.txt removes an accidental draft phrase without changing the scientific plan or counts.

Reproduction from the enclosing archive:
  python extension/run_extension.py --workers 8
  python extension/analyse_extension.py
  python extension/figure_extension.py

The runner imports unchanged sources/archive/revision_study/estimators_fast.py and the mi_estimator_validation generator/reference modules, all with hashes in freeze.json. NumPy/SciPy are required. Each catalogue is reconstructible exactly from config.json and the seed schema in the protocol and runner. All subset row IDs, raw/centred/analytic scores, permutation means and their conditional Monte Carlo SE are retained in parents/*.json.gz. The runner never resamples raw observations with replacement.

Independent units:601 parent pairs for each comparison. Prefixes and overlapping subsets are dependent and are averaged/reused as specified. Same bank reuse across ratios, anchors and targets is disclosed. Full results remain in summary_all_cells.csv, paired_changes.csv and raw_centred_corrections.csv. comparison_vectors.npz retains all independent replicate-level comparison inputs; array dimensions are(cell,replicate,A/baseline_B/matched_B,score), with explicit metadata. Wilson intervals are pointwise. Paired uncertainty uses2000 resamples of independent parent-pair IDs.

All settings are simulated, not observational empirical validation. L1 and Q1x were already development geometries. Claim scope is bounded to these geometries, truths .4/.5/.6, sample sizes100..600, and this specific five-subset matching procedure.
