COMPUTATIONAL STATISTICS — FINAL REQUIREMENTS CHECK
Checked 14 October 2026 against official journal instructions and linked Springer policies.

Author visibility
The journal instructions require author names and affiliations on the title page, together with corresponding email and available ORCIDs. No separate title-page file or anonymized manuscript requirement was found. Keeping author details on the manuscript title page follows the published instructions. The instructions do not explicitly identify the journal-specific review model. The linked Springer policy says most journals use single-anonymized review but notes variation, so do not claim this journal's exact model has been confirmed independently.

Supplementary ZIP size
The journal permits a collection of multiple supplementary files as ZIP or GZ. No numeric limit for ZIP or general supplementary files is specified. The 2 GB maximum appears only in the Audio, Video, and Animations subsection. It cannot safely be treated as a verified ZIP upload limit. A 100–150 MB reproducibility archive violates no numerical ZIP limit found in the public instructions, but portal-specific restrictions remain unverified. Keep the complete archive unless an actual upload restriction requires repackaging; do not remove results merely on an assumed limit.

Preprint references
The linked Springer editorial policy expressly permits preprints in reference lists and provides an arXiv example. This clarifies the generic published-or-accepted sentence in the journal's reference instructions. Appropriate preprints can stay in the list when accurately labelled with arXiv identifier and link. The earlier suggestion that they must be moved into footnotes is withdrawn.
