Region-of-interest counting on paired 1-hour and 3-hour planar acquisitions. The console computes and reports numbers only — it applies no threshold, no classification and no interpretation of any kind.

Operator workflow

  1. Load the DICOM files. Uncompressed Explicit / Implicit VR Little Endian only; JPEG, JPEG 2000 and RLE files are refused.
  2. Draw the heart ROI on the 1-hour panel: press, drag outward to set the radius, release.
  3. Place the contralateral lung ROI with a single click on the 1-hour panel — its radius is locked to the heart ROI.
  4. Copy ROI 1h → 3h, then drag either circle on the 3-hour panel to fine-tune its position. Radii stay locked.
  5. Read the values — centres, radius, area, total and mean counts, H/CL ratios and retention index, all to three decimals.
  6. Record the Perugini visual grade below the 3-hour panel, then export: clipboard (five values) or CSV.
