ONLINE RESOURCE 2 - TRACEABILITY, DERIVED DATA, AND VERIFICATION PACKAGE Purpose ------- This package is designed to let reviewers trace the principal numerical claims in the manuscript without redistributing large third-party upstream aeromagnetic archives, while preserving explicit PASS, FAIL, sensitivity, and inference boundaries. Layer A - upstream public data ------------------------------ The large original survey archives are not redistributed. Exact project/file identifiers are listed in derived/SOURCE_DATA_MANIFEST.csv. They should be obtained from the original SGB/CPRM, ANP, or NOAA/NCEI archives. Layer B - machine-readable derived data --------------------------------------- The derived/ directory contains line-level, control-level, historical-reconstruction, and model-sensitivity CSV tables used to support the reported summaries. In particular it includes the 14 individual 2011 target-line slopes, the 14 same-line target/north-control pairs with heading/date metadata, spatial controls, the complete 450-member historical 1DV reconstruction family, matched-resolution outputs, modern model/vector tables, Sao Domingos cross-domain controls, and the post-discovery Project 3087 channel/bin-phase/flight-height sensitivity tables added on 18 August 2026. Layer C - deterministic verification from included tables --------------------------------------------------------- scripts/verify_principal_claims.py recomputes the principal summary statistics reported in the manuscript directly from the included CSV tables. It now also verifies the exact MAGMIC same-line turnover and the declared outcomes of the bin-phase/channel/height sensitivity family. scripts/csmpf_synthetic_benchmark.py reproduces the analytic known-truth benchmark and sensitivity table. Layer D - upstream-to-sensitivity reconstruction ------------------------------------------------ scripts/verify_3087_channel_altitude_sensitivity.py can stream the original public Project 3087 Mag-3087.XYZ file, or the ZIP archive containing it, and regenerate the added channel/bin-phase/height sensitivity tables. This closes the raw-upstream-to-derived path for the new robustness analysis without redistributing the approximately gigabyte-scale third-party flight-line archive. The script deliberately preserves the frozen Uruana center, 14 production lines, +6 to +8 km target window, r<=8 km target clipping, and +16 to +20 km same-line northern control. Its four 250-m bin phases are a post-discovery sensitivity family and do not redefine the manuscript's primary fixed MAGBRU operator. Layer E - audit trail --------------------- The audits/ directory preserves narrative audits, including PASS, FAIL, unresolved, retired-result, and newly exposed sensitivity boundaries. URUANA_2011_CHANNEL_HEIGHT_BINPHASE_SENSITIVITY_AUDIT.txt documents the multi-channel result, flight-height/topography sign checks, and the fact that the exact 14/14 MAGBRU count is not invariant to every shifted bin phase or robust slope estimator. Layer F - exploratory source-depth sensitivity ---------------------------------------------- source_depth_sensitivity/ contains a post-discovery audit of source-depth estimators. Radial 2008 power spectra show a recurring shallow apparent ensemble scale (~1.5-2.2 km), but Euler estimates are strongly structural-index/upward-continuation dependent and 2011 profile spectra vary with analysis window. These results document why the manuscript does not assign a unique causative-body depth. They are not part of the direct anomaly claim. Interpretive boundary --------------------- The direct empirical claim is specifically a localized reversal of the meridional spatial derivative of measured scalar total magnetic field in the observed 2011 Uruana target under the declared primary operator. It is not a geomagnetic polarity reversal and not a direct measured reversal of vector Z. The added channel and height/topography analyses are post-discovery robustness checks: they strengthen resistance to simple processing/height artifacts but are not presented as an altitude-corrected replacement for the primary result.
